Cloud Nine

Coby, mom, dad, and me had our own version of "Trips on a Tankful" yesterday. First, we started with lunch at a locally owned restaurant in Shawnee called Benedict Street Market. Very cute with great food. The use only locally raised, hormone-free meats and make all their own breads and baked goods. The rye was so good mom bought a loaf to take home. Then we drove to Holdenville to a bakery called Kalico Kitchen. Holy cow, good stuff! They have all sorts of cookies, pies, cakes, and homemade custard. We all fell in love with the Cloud Nine Cookies. I've never had anything like it before, and it makes the drive worth it. Then Coby and I watched the Cardinals beat the Pirates...a perfect Saturday.
